Hand Swage Tool

Hand swaging tools for smaller wire rope crimping jobs such as balustrading and fencing.

Hand crimping (swaging) tools can provide an extremely strong and long lasting loop when used correctly and when properly adjusted.
Please note that hand swaging tools should not be used when wire is required for lifting purposes.

USING THE HAND SWAGING PLIERS

1. Feed the wire through the ferrule to leave at least one wire diameter in length protruding from ferrule.
2. Beginning at the tail end of the ferrule press along the length of the ferrule using the full width of the plier jaw.
3. Rotate the ferrule 90 degrees and repeat, pressing surplus metal back into the ferrule.
4. Rotate back 90 degrees and repeat the process.
